In 95% of cases, we operate on a fixed project fee basis; 50% of the entire cost paid upfront as a non-refundable deposit. Our experience suggests that for customers, a fixed fee is more practical and open since it lets them clearly budget and helps to avoid unanticipated expenses. For projects with flexible scope or continuous help, though, we can also provide an hourly fee should it be more appropriate.
